It needed until Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the pitchers that have sported the yellow jersey over five decades.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the confidence to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, if necessary, we are confident we can do it."

Those words will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this World Cup want to hear.

During the last week a feeling they will win from any position has only strengthened - this victory succeeding win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.

It was at that stage they left last year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - an encounter Healy missed because of damaged tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the inaugural occasion at a significant event.

So strong is her resolve, she subsequently stated she wanted to have participated despite the injury.
